  26. Here, here...GDI is a big pain.  A work colleague suggests that GDI is
  27. a Microsoft anti-competitive practice--in other words, only MS folks 
  28. really get the training and such and can dedicate their lives to the
  29. mission of learning how to use it properly.  I have programmed under
  30. Windows for nearly two years, but I find it quite frustrating still...
  31. OOPS! - gosh darn it! I forgot to free that HBRUSH, now my 64K chunk of
  32. GDI heap is going down!...Captain, we can't keep eating resources like
  33. this...she...she'll blow.  On the other hand, there is a way to allocate
  34. more DC's...just create a Window with a style of OwnDC or something
  35. like that.
